SONGS FOR BAR BEACH

This is a nostalgia Project, one that bears out the wordsworthian overflowing emotion recollected in Tranquility. It is about Bar Beach not just as a place but as a defining locale for many. The poems here are memories coalescing into something as hard, like a lump in the throat, as they engage with subjects that encompasses matters of the heart, death, crime, and environmental degradation. These are elegies for a place that has been “disappeared”.
